WHO ARE WE
We are a team of 3 Cal Poly students collaborating with Sara Dela Rippa and Impress Technologies to put an end to the leading cause of maternal mortality. We are assisting in the development of a device that can detect postpartum hemorrhaging in just two minutes, up to thirty times faster than current technoglogy.

SARA DELA RIPPA
Project Founder and Coordinator
Sara Della Ripa is a Biomedical Engineering graduate student at Cal Poly. Sara has worked with InPress Technologies since 2016 to develop a medical device for maternal health that is being brought to market for its use in PPH treatment. Her experiences informed her discovery of a solution to the serious need for detection of coagulopathy in order to predict the onset of severe PPH.

Madison is a current Recreation, Parks, & Tourism Major at Cal Poly with a concentration in Event Planning and Experience Management.
While she doesn't have too much experience with development yet, she is excited for the opportunities that await in her last year at Cal Poly and the years to follow.
