Original Prototype

Originally, Sara Dela Rippa was planning to utilize a plastic casing surrounding the paper which will absorb and ultimately determine the ability of the blood to clot. Pictured above is a pregnancy test, purchased from a local dollar tree. The idea is to draw blood using a lancet, or a small prick of the finger, and determine based the distance blood travels, whether or not the blood is clotting.
